The ethnic groups are Baatombu, Fulbe or Peulh, Dendi, Yoruba, Fon, Adja, Natimba, Berba, Waama and Ditamari.
Religions: 55.9% of Muslim, 15.19% of traditional religious, 7.8% catholic; 2.1 protestant and 18.3% other religious.
The villagers mostly live of cultivating cotton, corn and yam.
