Departure in the morning from Cotonou to Grand Popo.
Stop in Ouidah to visit the Sacred Forest and Zinsou Museum.
After the visit departure to Guezin to have a drink.
Arrival in Grand Popo check in Awale Plage hotel.
Lunch in local restaurant and rest for 2 hours.
City tour in the afternoon.
Chatting and have a drink at the beach bar, with the people about the history of Grand Popo.
Dinner in a local restaurant.
Overnight stay in Awale Plage Hotel.
Historical – Architectural Circuit
The Colonial past of Agoue.
After breakfast you will be brought to Yesuvito to start the excursion.
Path until the house Atanley where the original treaty of protectorate- that marked the end of the political independence of the kingdom of Agoué- is conserved. Moreover, you will have the chance to see the original throne of the first and last king of Agoué.
The circuit continues with the visit to the House of family of Almeida and the three houses of the Afro-Brazilian Sylvanus Olympio’s ancestors, the first president of Togo. Finally, at the Catholic cemetery you will find the graves of the first missionaries. In the kingdom of Dahomey, come from Europe because of their mission of evangelization.
You will be back at the hotel in the afternoon and have some time for yourself.
In the evening enjoy a local music show at the beach with local people.

Excursion at 05.30 to Birds Island.
Around 08.00 back at the hotel and have breakfast.
Departure to La Bouche du Roi by boat over the Mono River.
You will stop in Hévè to see voodoos and the special history of this village.
Another stop is in a small village to see people making salt in a traditional way.
You can see on the way people fishing. There are also many mangrove trees and many marvelous birds to see.
After arrival at “La Bouche du Roi” you can rest or swim, walk at the beach and play games.
While you drink something the Cook and his team will cook the foods and make the BBQ.
Dinner is served at the beach and after dinner you will enjoy a show with traditional music.
Overnight stay in tents.
Sport at the beach walking, playing football, volleyball what you like.
After these activities breakfast will be served.
The rest of the morning is free to spend.
Lunch at the beach.
Afternoon free to spend.
Around 17.00 back to Grand Popo to Hotel Awale Plage.
You walk in the city to see how Nonvitcha festival is being prepared.
Dinner in local restaurant.
Overnight stay in Awale Plage.
After breakfast you walk in the city to enjoy the different events and take part of it.
In between you have lunch in a local restaurant.
In the evening dinner at hotel and overnight stay at Awale Plage.
After breakfast all day is for the event.
It is the beginning of the real event Xwla people come from many places to play tradition music. Lunch you can enjoy yourself.

It is the day of official opening of this celebration; there are many authorities, the mayor, ministries and more. It is also the day people play more traditional music. Lunch to enjoy yourself.
Every year on this day the same clothes are worn with big serviettes around the neck.

Back to Cotonou after breakfast where you will arrive in the afternoon.
